Heart of America Stand Down for Veterans - Kansas City
Kansas Legal Services participated in the 25th Anniversary of the Heart of America Veterans Stand Down.
This year the spring event was Friday, June 2 from 7:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Some attorneys provided advice and some liked to be at the table in the main area and greet Veterans. We never know how many Veterans will request assistance or what legal issues will be presented.
The Veterans are very appreciative that attorneys take time out from their busy schedules to be there. We are appreciative of any way you want to participate and any amount of time you would like to donate.
If you would like to donate your time and expertise to this very rewarding event, please contact Kim Sharitz at sharitzk@klsinc.org or (913) 621-0200.
